Well wishes are pouring in for Lerato, Molapo, affectionately known as Lira. The award-winning songstress suffered a stroke in Germany, according to a statement from the family.
The 44-year old songstress had travelled to Germany for a performance when she suffered a stroke, and has since returned home to receive medical care.
The family also communicated through the statement that Lira’s speech has been impaired, and while she’s on the mend, “her journey will require patience and therefore it is unlikely that she will be able to perform in the short term.”
They went on to assure her fans that she is in good spirits and is surrounded by her loving family and close friends. These are some of the touching messages shared on Twitter.
Let's keep her in our prayers.
