Paris Hilton has always been a mother, but today she became a literal mum. The 41-year-old welcomed her first child with husband Carter Reum via surrogate, People reports.
Hilton shared the news of her little one's arrival on Instagram on January 24, posting a photo of tiny baby fingers gripping her well-manicured thumb. “You are already loved beyond words,” she captioned the photo, adding a blue heart emoji. Per People, it's a boy!
Though she kept mum that she and Reum were expecting, Hilton has been open about her fertility journey. After her mother, Kathy Hilton, said in an interview last November that her daughter was “trying and trying” to get pregnant, Paris set the record straight on her Instagram Stories. "The truth is, my husband and I wanted to enjoy our first year of marriage together as a couple, and we were always planning on starting our family in 2023."
"IVF is always a journey for everything, but we're so fortunate that we have lots of healthy embryos ready and waiting to be part of our Cutesy Crew!" Paris continued. "As everyone knows I have an extremely busy work and travel schedule but nothing gets me more excited than becoming a mom in 2023!"
Paris Hilton and Reum, a venture capitalist, wed in 2021 at her grandfather's former estate in Bel Air.
