Netflix’s global hit series Lucifer returns this Friday August 21 worldwide. South African born and raised actress Lesley-Ann Brandt will resume her role as fan favorite Mazikeen. The devil’s sidekick continues on her path to finding empathy on earth. This season Lesley-Ann will once again grace viewers with her beautiful vocals in a much anticipated black/white themed Noir inspired episode mixing up the Lucifer universe.
Lesley-Ann had her break on the widely popular Spartacus series before solidifying her name in Lucifer. The series has been picked up for a season 6 due to popular demand. It is the show that keeps returning even after 2 cancellations.
As a long time activist she continues to fight for the injustices in the world and have done many fundraising campaigns for various organizations around the world under her campaign name Care Like A Demon. Some of the projects she has been very passionate about are Earth Child Project in Cape Town and Saving the Survivors.
She is also actively putting her name to the fight for LGBTQA+ rights, racial injustices and women’s rights.
