Justin Bieber reportedly “went home” with Adriana Lima at the Cannes International Film Festival earlier this month, just weeks after the model announced her split from her husband of five years.
The “Confident” singer hooked up with the newly-single Victoria’s Secret model, 32, at the Cannes International Film Festival last week.
A source told Us Weekly magazine that the 20-year-old Canadian star made a beeline for the Brazilian beauty, who announced her split from husband of five years Marko Jaric earlier this month, when he spotted her at Gotha nightclub on May 20 and they later moved on to a private house party together
The insider said: “Justin pursued her hard. They were talking nonstop. They went home together around 5am.
Justin shared a photograph of himself with the brunette model, who has daughters Valentina, four, and 19-month-old Sienna with Marko, that night, with the caption: “I think she foreign, I think she foreign.”
But a source close to the “Baby” hitmaker, who split from his on-again, off-again girlfriend Selena Gomez after a brief reconciliation last month, said: “He had fun with Adriana. [But] it won’t turn into anything serious.”
Adriana confirmed she and Serbian-born NBA star Marko, who got married on Valentine’s Day in February 2009, had decided to separate on May 2.
In a joint statement, they said: “After long and careful consideration, we have decided to separate after five years of marriage. We are grateful to be the parents of two incredible young daughters that we will continue to co-parent. We would greatly appreciate your respect for our family’s privacy as we begin this delicate next chapter for all members of our family.”
