Gigi Hadid is reportedly dating Lewis Hamilton.
The 20-year-old fashion model and TV personality – who recently announced her split from Australian pop singer Cody Simpson, 18 – was spotted alongside the Formula One World Champion during the Cannes Film Festival and it’s been claimed the celebrity duo have started dating. A source told the Mail on Sunday newspaper: “They’ve been on a couple of dates. It’s on!”
At the time of their split, a spokesperson for Gigi and Cody revealed they’d separated due to their busy schedules, but refused to rule out a reconciliation further down the line.
The spokesperson said: “Cody and Gigi want each other to be in a place right now that allows him to only focus on his music, fans, and new message, while she can focus and continue building her career.
“They love each other dearly and have split up in hopes that growing on their own paths will bring them together in the future.”
Meanwhile, Lewis, 30, split from his on/off pop star girlfriend Nicole Scherzinger earlier this year, but subsequently insisted he feels “stronger than ever” and the issue wouldn’t impact his racing.
Following their break up, Lewis said: “Of course, in the previous years it has been the case where it’s affected my life in general.
“Last year, I adopted, maybe the word is a mental attitude that was impenetrable.
“But I feel that I still carry that kind of mentality from last year and whilst it’s not been easy, I feel stronger than ever.
“Having been in this position before, I don’t feel that it’s going to be a problem.”
