Shortly after - she released her debut album Yellow The Novel which scored her two nominations at the South African Music Awards for Best African Album and Best Jazz Album. On her birthday (23 February) Modiga surprised her fans with a new single titled Ngelosi. Produced by BandaBanda Ngelosi is a soothing tune carried by acoustic keys and Zoë’s angelic tone that flows harmoniously. It's been three years since her last release and the fans took to social media to share their excitement and speculation of a third album.
Celebrating 5 years of Yellow The Novel - an album that cemented her music career, Zoë and Bandabanda agency have put together an intimate tour, Yellow The Novel - Replayed Tour. Which kicked off in Johannesburg on the 24th and 25th of February and making its way to Cape Town and hopefully other parts of the country.
