Cardi B on Sunday announced that she is pregnant with her second child during a live performance with Migos at the BET Awards in Los Angeles.
The singer came out on stage in an outfit that revealed her noticeable baby bump.
She also posted an announcement on social media following the performance.
Cardi B secretly married the father of her daughter Kulture in 2017.
The news was unexpected, and the reactions immediate.
Cardi was nominated for five awards -- best female hip-hop artist, best collaboration ("WAP" with Megan Thee Stallion), viewer's choice award ("WAP" again) and video of the year, twice (for both "WAP" and "Up") -- while Migos had a best group nomination at this year's BET Awards.
Fans and other celebrities have since congratulated the rapper on her second pregnancy.
