On Monday, Cardi B made history by becoming the first female rapper to have two No. 1 singles on the Billboard Hot 100. So naturally, she celebrated her new record in true Cardi fashion: with a good, old-fashioned twerk sesh.
Upon hearing the news, the pregnant rapper immediately took to her Instagram with the festive video. In the clip, which is superimposed with “NUMBER 1 AGAIN” in giant numbers, Cardi B lets out a celebratory, “Number one, I’m number one, I’m number one!” before planting her hands on the bed and twerking with unadulterated enthusiasm in a floral maternity dress.
As Billboard announced, Cardi B topped the charts again with “I Like It,” the collaboration with Bad Bunny and J Balvin from her new album, Invasion of Privacy. Her first No. 1 single was, of course, “Bodak Yellow,” which made her a household name all the way back in October 2017. This is, obviously, a big deal. To put it into perspective, according to Billboard, only four other female rappers besides Cardi have scored a No. 1 single: Lauryn Hill, with “Doo Wop (That Thing)” in 1998; Lil’ Kim, with “Lady Marmalade” in 2001 (with Christina Aguilera, Mya, and P!nk); Shawnna, with Ludacris’s “Stand Up” in 2003; and Iggy Azalea, with the Charli XCX-featuring “Fancy” in 2014.

This isn’t the first time Cardi B has celebrated a chart-topping record with a signature Cardi move. In April she reacted to her single “Bartier Cardi” going platinum by tweeting, “Foreal😱😱😱😱😱yaaaaayyyyy!! Made my day ..Floppy B.” Before that, in January she celebrated having three Billboard Hot 100 singles in the top 10 at the same time.
