Boity Thulo is best know for her acting skills, being the hostess with the mostess and being a boss entrepreneur but she adding something special to her CV- rapper. Boity announced via her IG that this week Friday (31 August) she will be dropping her very first single. The single will be titled Wuz Dat featuring non-other than hip-hop icon Nasty C.

We caught up with Boity to get the DL on what we can expect from her debut single. “The song is going to blow your mind!” is the first thing she told us.
“I wanted my first single to be a song for everyone- a song you can play in your car or you can drop it low to in the club.” she said while describing the song to us. She said that this wasn’t something she woke up one morning and wanted to do but a rather a dream of hers that she’s been brewing on for a while.
“I’ve been wanting to venture into the music scene for a while now, but I wanted to make sure it was perfect”, she said, “I feel like I have the right support system to back it up and I have put my everything into it.”
Let’s be honest, when we first heard Boity was dropping a whole rap single, it raised a few eyebrows and Boity was fully aware of this.
“I realized when I told people that there would be a bit of scepticism but it along with it came a whole lot more excitement which made the risk all the more worth it!”
She said she is proud of herself at how fearless she has been to step out of her comfort zone and do something she is passionate about.
Boity told us that she has not confirmed an entire album just yet, but if the single takes off, which we’re sure it will, we’re sure we’ll be getting more from Boity.
