She’s signed to DJ Mustard’s 10 Summers label. If you’ve never heard of DJ Mustard, he’s the producer behind hit records like Trey Songz’s Na Na and Beyonce’s 7/11 Remix.

She spent half of her childhood in Queens, New York. When she was 12, her mother abruptly moved the budding young talent, and her older brother, across the pond to Queens, New York, for a teaching job. Ella later moved back to the UK.

Boo’d Up is her first song to crack the Billboard Hot 100. She is #31 on Billboard’s R&B/Hip-Hop and #6 on the R&B Hot Singles Charts, and #62 on the Hot 100.
