“Green manicures are one of my most requested looks right now, and I’m using a lot of BioSculpture’s Free Lovin’, which is a deep green shade,” says manicurist Faye Dennis, an example of whose work you can see below. “It’s super eye-catching, and my clients say how many compliments they receive.”
As well as being a little bit different, green has benefits beyond the aesthetic. As a common colour found in nature, it’s associated with peace, growth and health and has been scientifically proven to boost our wellbeing. What better way to make your manicure an even more uplifting little treat than usual?

When sunnier weather finally arrives, Dennis recommends trying brighter and more vibrant shades – think Bottega greens and pistachio – to add a pop of colour to an outfit. “You can also dip your toe into the trend with a coloured French tip or some minimal nail art,” she suggests.
