How to hide a fringe that’s been cut too short

Okay, so we know this is more than likely going to have happened by your own hand (we won’t tell…), but you can hide a botched fringe trim with these crafty tricks.

Obviously you want to make the most of whatever length your do have. DO this by applying a pea-sized amount of styling cream to towel dried hair. Using a styling cream that will help weigh-down the hair, which in this case is a good thing! We love Kerastase Forme Fatale Styling Couture, R320.

Then using a small-barreled brush to blow dry your fringe right down against your forehead – pulling the hair as taught as your can (this will create the most length). If having it straight still looks strange, blow dry it to the side to create a side-swept look. You can secure this with a bobby pin or colourful clip.

Still not happy? Well, headbands are in again, so you could hide it under a cute floral band. Or, you could pop it under a trendy beanie or fedora!

If all else fails, you could pop down to your hair stylist (or maybe a salon where nobody knows you?) and get them to have a look at it.
