What inspired your partnership with GLAMOUR for the Beauty Masterclass and Awards?
It was for two things:
1. Creative Inspiration: To inspire participants to think creatively and experiment with new styles, textures, and trends in hair styling.
2. Product Knowledge: To educate hair stylists on ORS and Long and Lasting products, and technologies in the hair industry and how to use them effectively.
How does this collaboration align with your brand's values and mission?
The collaboration aligns with the brands values and Dabur. We have always put people first, whether in creating world-class products or solving problems they face across our product offerings. Everything we build, we construct with care to meet and exceed our customers' expectations.
How does your brand promote diversity in beauty standards and representation
Our brand Long and Lasting as well as ORS Olive Oil is committed to promoting diversity in black women's hair by offering a wide range of products specifically designed to cater to the unique needs and preferences of black women. We understand that black women have diverse hair textures and styles, and we strive to provide a comprehensive selection of haircare products that cater to all types of hair, from curly and coily to straight and wavy.
In addition to our product offerings, we also work with black hair stylists and influencers to create educational content and tutorials that provide tips and guidance on how to care for and style black hair. We believe that representation matters, and we are dedicated to showcasing the beauty and versatility of black women's hair in our marketing campaigns and social media platforms.
How do you see the beauty industry evolving?
Consumers are increasingly concerned about the environmental impact of beauty products and are seeking out brands that prioritize sustainability, ethical sourcing, and cruelty-free practices. The rise of clean beauty and conscious consumerism is expected to continue driving a shift towards more sustainable and eco-friendly beauty products.
What are you mostly looking forward to at the GLAMOUR Hair and Beauty Masterclass?
To be in a space where stylist, beauty experts and influencers can connect with other professionals in the industry, share ideas, and build relationships. But most importantly being in a space that encouarges personal growth and development, both creatively and professionally, through learning new skills and techniques.
