What’s on your Mother’s Day Wishlist?

As Mother's Day approaches, we recognize the tireless dedication and sacrifices that come with motherhood. Knowing that every mom deserves a day of pampering, we reached out to the mothers on our team to hear their heartfelt wishes for this special occasion.

Being a single mom has taught me first-hand about the relentless dedication required for parenting 24/7. While the joys of motherhood far surpass the challenges, there's no denying the importance of rest. Our team of mothers can certainly relate, and they're eager to share what would make their Mother's Day even more delightful. Here's what they had to share.

Even though I would die for me-time, and enjoy time away from the two intruders that made me a mother. More than anything I would love to go to a beautiful resort with my babies for a week packed with loads of activities to do. Nothing beats family time. Followed by a shopping spree for mommy, for this I would have to make sure that I only go to clothing outlets that have no children's clothing because being a mother is very tricky when you have to choose between you and them, they always win.

I dream of a spa day shared with my mom and a few other mothers, a day dedicated to pure indulgence. Picture it: serene comfort, tranquil peace, soothing massages, and meaningful conversations flowing effortlessly. It's a space where connections are gentle, not easily shaken. Motherhood, as we know, is a constant mental exercise, and in this sanctuary, I aim to extend compassion to myself and others. Above all, what I truly crave is peace.

I’d like it share my favourite quote, “having a daughter is like having a broke best friend who thinks you're rich". My daughter says I should be sending a quote about what I LOVE about motherhood but I don't think I would have made it as a single mother without humour. This Mother’s Day, I would love to be on an island doing a girl's trip with my now 23 year old bestie, but it looks like it will be lunch at our(or rather, her) favourite sushi spot.
