Earlier today, grainy elevator footage was released showing an incident occurring after last week’s Met Gala, in which Jay Z is seen to be be attacked by his sister-in-law, Solange. During the physical attack, Beyoncé looks on without intervening, and pictures from the evening show that the sisters left The Standard Hotel without Mr Carter.
The hotel has released a statement apologising for the breach of security that allowed the video to be released, but Solange and the Carters have thus far remained silent.
As the footage sparked a frenzy on social media, a second and longer video was released, showing that Solange’s attack was even more savage than it previously seemed. See it below.
