Beyoncé and Jay Z staying with Gwyneth Paltrow

Beyoncé and Jay Z are reportedly staying in Gwyneth Paltrow’s Los Angeles home as it gives them privacy.

The couple – whose marriage has been subject to rumours it is on the rocks – have reportedly sought solace at their friend’s Los Angeles mansion now the North American leg of their On the Run tour has come to an end, and plan to stay there before flying to France for gigs on September 12 and 13 as the Brentwood property offers them privacy, the New York Post newspaper’s Page Six column reports.

Meanwhile, the “Crazy in Love” hitmaker has praised her tour with her husband as the “best” of her life.

Posting a picture on Instagram of her rapper spouse carrying their two-year-old daughter Blue Ivy towards a plane after their San Francisco show on Wednesday, she wrote: “Thank you San Fran! Your city is beautiful. It was the perfect place to complete the best tour of my life!”

Beyoncé and Jay have been close friends with Gwyneth and her estranged husband Chris Martin – with who she has kids Apple, 10, and Moses, eight – for some time and the former Destiny’s Child star has previously praised the “incredible” Iron Man star. Beyoncé said: “She is incredible. She’s a great friend on every level.”

The couple were also reportedly “all business” on stage as they wrapped up their tour and their lack of chemistry on stage was reportedly “palpable. A source told UsMagazine.com that the duo also appeared “very tired” onstage at AT&T Park.

The eyewitness added: “It was all business for these two. Beyoncé’s eyes on the screen looked red.” But the couple put on a united front as they performed the tour’s title track, and the insider added: “They gave each other a squeeze and a tickle. She still seemed unfazed and managed a smile before slipping away from him.” Before leaving the stage, the 32-year-old singer “held hands with Jay leading the way,” as a home video, featuring their daughter, played on big screens around the packed stadium.

Sources previously claimed that the couple’s business relationship is now more important to them than their marriage.

But one pal recently insisted they are still committed to each other, saying: “There’s still something there, even though it’s not going to last. Business is always part of the equation. They know they’re the king and queen of hip-hop – and really, all of music. Neither wants to lose that. “They are solid, solid business people who know what they’re doing.”
