How our fave ZAlebrites celebrated Father’s Day

Father’s Day is officially upon us, and the heartfelt celebrity Instagram tributes are pouring in. Lots of A-listers here in the SA, and from all over marked the occasion with a cute tweet or Instagram post, showing off pics of them with their poppas. They have our feeds filled with tons of throwback photos (including some ultra-cute baby pics) to share delightful memories about the father figures in their lives. Here are our favourites:

My first Father’s Day even though everyday since you were born feels like Father’s Day. Incredibly blessed to have this little dinosaur 🦖 in our lives. Without a doubt the best thing that’s happened to me in my life and the greatest accomplishment ever. Love you son. #alhamdulillah #fathersday #babyparnell #khalid

“I don’t think anything could’ve prepared me for fatherhood. I was afraid that I wouldn’t be able to provide for you, put a decent roof over your head or buy you new sneakers. As time went on it hit me that none of those things matter as much as spending time together; laughing with you, dancing like michael jackson or building castles with the mud outside. My father was a good man but I wish he could’ve been allowed the space not to have to chase money his whole life, I wish I could’ve told him ‘PAPA, ALL I NEED IS YOU”. But as you know in life we cant wish to change the past. All we can do is realize that everyday is a new opportunity to create our future. Everyday is a chance to improve ourselves and all we have to do is take the first step. Thank you my son. You turned a scared young man into a proud father. I LOVE YOU ❤” #StartStrong #StayShining 📸: @vaselineza
