You would’ve sworn it was the Met Gala when Nigeria’s finest stepped out on the red carpet to attend the Lagos premiere of Oceans 8, on Sunday. From our favourite Nigerian slay queen, Toke Makinwa, to media personality and model, Idia Aisen, the red carpet was filled with fabulous frocks.
In collaboration with Nigerian film studio, Film One, and Warner Brothers, the event invited African designers to dress celebs in any one of the Met Gala themes. The best design will receive a cash prize; at this point, a winner has not been announced.
