Man Candy Monday

Oliver Proudlock is an English designer, model, and reality TV star who gained mass popularity on the show Made In Chelsea. When he’s not filming for the popular programme, the stylish reality TV regular runs his own fashion company. He founded the fashion label, Serge DeNimes, which is described as a brand that provides exclusive seasonal collections of jewellery, urban apparel and accessories of premium quality. He also attended the prestigious boarding school Eton at the same time as Prince Harry. We sat down with the brains behind the brand and got to know him on a more personal level.

What would you say is your best attribute, and why?

I would say my best attribute is that I am a very caring and generous person. Especially with my family and friends. I have a very tight-knit group of people close to me who I would pretty much do anything for.

Who or what inspires you?

I get a lot of inspiration from travelling and because my background is very creative, a lot of the time my inspirations come from my immediate surroundings. New York is very inspiring to me in terms of the art and the fashion you find there. In terms of individuals, my mum is a huge inspiration. She was a designer and a photographer so a lot of my creative inspiration comes from her. And last but definitely not least, my girlfriend inspires me. She drives me every day to be the best version of myself.

What’s your idea of a perfect date?

I am a massive foodie, so my girlfriend and I try and do date night at least two to three times a month. We’ll try out new places with amazing food and a unique atmosphere. So in a nutshell, good food amazing company and a beautiful setting is the ideal date for me.

What’s your favourite drink?

Pisco sour- it’s the most delicious and refreshing drink for me.

What fills the spot at the top of your dream destination list?

I really want to visit Japan. Especially from a creative point of view, both the fashion and food is just so amazing and a friend of mine who recently visited Japan said it was like being in a completely different world and that for me is really exciting and enticing.

Do you have any regrets when it comes to past relationships?

I believe in no regrets! I’m sure we all make mistakes but you just have to move on and not let it affect you in a negative way. One thing my mum taught me was to always be positive.

Who is your style icon?

Pharrell Williams! I’ve got a few guys on my list who I look up to in fashion which are all slightly different like Ralph Lauren, Tom Ford and Johnny Depp. But as a whole Pharrell Williams is the whole package to me.

Who is your WCW (Woman Crush Wednesday)?

My girlfriend obviously! But in terms of a celeb crush, I would have to go with Rihanna. She’s super talented, she’s sexy and she’s got an amazing style. What more could you want?
