Harry Styles has always done things his way. His debut album, Harry Styles, was a breakaway from the One Direction hits that had helped him make his name, instead, it was a rockier sound that played closer to his personal tastes. He eschewed a leading man role for his cinema debut and instead opted for a gritty ensemble part in the WWII – and now Academy Award-winning – epic Dunkirk. Harry’s wardrobe has been less people-pleasing, and instead, it’s more pushing boundaries of what dressing for on – and off – the stage looks like right now.
And so, it’s of no surprise that his latest incarnation also feels true to everything we know – and love – about the 24-year-old. Harry Styles, Gucci model. It’s another perfect match for the modern multi-hyphenate.
For some time he’s been wearing Alessandro Michele’s designs with flair, but this move takes the brand association one step further. Since he was spotted on set at a fish and chip shop in suburban St Albans, rumours have been circulating that Harry was working with Gucci in a more promotional capacity.
When we reached out to the house, they confirmed that Harry is the face of its as-yet-unreleased tailoring campaign. Harry loves a Gucci suit. So, a match well made.
While his role is confirmed, only one official image has been released, and even that doesn’t give much away. Posting to Instagram, Gucci shared a snap with a close crop of Harry’s forehead and the shop sign hanging above.

The full campaign is expected soon, but what can we expect? We’re thinking chintzy suits, brooding pouts and a chronic case of breaking the internet, or at least a few fan-girl hearts.
