The 2018 Golden Globes featured a number of reunions, including Emma Watson and Robert Pattinson, who haven’t worked together since their (fictional) days at Hogwarts. Another high school catch-up session occurred between Ansel Elgort and Timothée Chalamet, who ran into each-other at the star-studded event.
The LaGuardia High School alumni found themselves at the centre of a debate, posed to them by MTV: who was more popular at the infamous Fame High? Ansel said it was definitely Timothée, who shot back, “Ansel had a calendar with him in it. Are you kidding me?”
The comment was enough to pique everyone’s curiosity, and Ansel filled us in on Twitter: He really did pose for a calendar as part of a fundraiser organized by the student council, and, as Vulture reports, the photos are on his photographer sister Sophie Elgort’s website. On a page marked “Ansel calendar,” you can see him at a teacher’s desk holding a paper marked “F,” flipping a burger in an American flag shirt, and scaling a house in a Santa Claus costume. Oh, then there’s the one where he’s shirtless on a bench with pink roses that match his shorts. But the best one is definitely him cracking eggs on a balcony, dressed as a bunny. We’re going to guess that one’s April?
All in all, this calendar is a true masterpiece and should be for sale if it’s not already. To be fair, Ansel believes Timothée would make an equally compelling calendar star.
