Last year the Anna-Faris-Chris-Pratt-breakup left us devastated. One of our favourite couples in Hollywood called it quits and we literally lost faith in true love. And even though we had time to digest the news, some people were heartbroken to hear that Chris Pratt was apparently already moving on with Olivia Munn – the actress got a LOT of hate online and felt the need to clear up the dating rumours.
The media was portraying Anna Faris as this raging ex who was “furious” about Chris and Olivia’s alleged “secret dates”. So Olivia Munn decided to reach out to Anna Faris to clear the air and explain that there was literally nothing going on between her and Chris.
Taking to her Insta Stories this weekend, Olivia had some receipts to show fans who were giving her hate, but most importantly she wanted to show that women should always be there for other women. She started by saying “Hello!” and followed it with a series of empowering slides that read:
“1. Not every woman is scorned and upset after a breakup.”
“2. Not every woman is “furious” at another woman for dating her ex.”
“3. So even if I was dating @prattprattpratt, some tabloids got me and @annafaris all wrong.”
“4. Women respect and love each other a lot more than some people like to think.”
“5. Chris and I would have a horrible celebrity name.”
As if this lecture on ‘how to deal with Hollywood rumours’ wasn’t enough, Olivia also shared this screenshot of her reaching out to Anna in an act of female solidarity, to explain the rumours were NOT real.
