As if news of the birth of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s third baby wasn’t enough excitement for one week, they have just revealed her name.

Named after Kanye’s home town, Kim revealed the news on her website before confirming that she will be known as ‘Chi’ (pronounced ‘shy’).
The celebrity world stood still on Tuesday afternoon as Kim and Kanye announced the birth of their third child who arrived into the world (presumably dropped off by God himself) on Monday morning at 12.47am.
Announcing the news on her website, Kim exclaimed: “SHE’S HERE!”
“Kanye and I are happy to announce the arrival of our healthy, beautiful baby girl,” she wrote.
“We are incredibly grateful to our surrogate who made our dreams come true with the greatest gift one could give and to our wonderful doctors and nurses for their special care.”
“North and Saint are especially thrilled to welcome their baby sister.”
The buzz around baby names started almost immediately. Despite Kanye being quoted saying they were struggling to think of a name, fans of the star were looking for even the tiniest hint and thought that they’d found one in one of her latest Instagram posts.

Yep, that’s a Louis Vuitton pattern right there, but what on earth does it have to do with a baby name? Leave it to the Kardashian fans to spin a story…

However, Kim cleared things up revealing that she posted the LV picture to celebrate brand designer Kim Jones’ final catwalk show.
Sharing a link to an article about her fans believing she was naming her daughter Louis, Kim told her followers: “NOPE! It was Kim Jones last show and wanted to snap a LV pic.”
Earlier this week, Paddy Power released its predictions on the baby girl’s moniker. Somehow Chicago wasn’t one of the suggestions…
