GREAT SCOTT!

Art lovers, this one’s for you!

Get your aesthetic fix, plus mix and mingle with creative, A-listers and all-round fabulous people, at Richard Scott’s ‘My Cape Town Girls’ exhibition, hosted by Cape Town’s Opulent Living Concept Store & Gallery.

A favourite spot for lovers of beautiful things (think gorgeous jewellery, sculptures, shoes, bags, clothes, and more), Opulent Living is known for its emerald green interior — and its devotion to SA talent. And that’s a category that definitely includes this painter. The series is an extension of his pieces he has recently been busy with, adding objects from his travels to his canvases and painting ‘My Girls’ over them. It is homage to Cape Town, paying tribute to the city where he lives and works.

Richard’s work has been exhibited all over the world from England to Holland to America and he’s known for his bright lashings of colour, his blazing- white subjects – trees, lighthouses, landscapes, and mostly, the female semi-nude form – are etched in deep black line, defining his claim to fame as a master of Pop Art minimalism.

So don’t miss the exhibition opening from 6:30 pm onwards on 1st February, or visit over the next month

With prices ranging from R10 000 going up to R31 000 for a painting, this is your chance to get an artistic original.

You can find Opulent Living Concept Store & Gallery at 24 Kloof Street
