Pink reveals she is raising her children gender neutral

Pink has been vocal about nonconformity in the past and it’s clear she wants her children to know that they can be whoever they want to be: she’s raising them as gender neutral.

Speaking to  The Sunday People, she said: “We are a very label-less household. Last week Willow told me she is going to marry an African woman. I was like: ‘Great, can you teach me how to make African food?’”

“And she’s like: ‘Sure Mama, and we are going to live with you while our house is getting ready.’”

The 38-year-old has two children with husband Corey Hart: six-year-old daughter Willow and 11-month-old Jameson.

Pink has been spoken out about teaching her children self-love in the past. At the VMAs in August, when accepting the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award,  she made a moving speech about society’s female beauty standards, recalling a story where Willow told her she was “the ugliest girl she knew” and “looked like a boy with long hair.”

Pink follows a growing line celebrities revealing they will be raising their children gender neutral, after the likes of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, and Paloma Faith who said of her children: “I just want them to be who they want to be.”

We could not love Pink more!
