Titanic has celebrated its 20 years since first debuting on the big screen and it’s all everyone can talk about. So it came as no surprise that Kate Winslet decided to join the conversation and spill the tea about filming the blockbuster.

On an interview with The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Kate made some shocking revelations, like: she “absolutely never” listens to ‘My heart will go on,’ the sex scene was not scripted and it got quite sweaty on the car, AND she had hypothermia after filming the scene in the water.

But none of this compares to Kate revealing who was the actor who nearly bagged the role of Jack and that she actually auditioned with. Are you ready? Alright, alright, alright, here he is…

Kate confirmed: “I auditioned with Matthew [McConaughey], isn’t that weird?” And although it was “completely fantastic,” she added “it just wouldn’t have been the whole, Jack and Rose, Kate and Leo thing.”

Yep, that would’ve been quite the change.
