Tay Tay beware, there’s a new Swiftie doppelgänger in town and if she took your place, we’d never notice.
Now, we had our fair share of Taylor Swift doppelgängers, but this one might be the most uncanny so far. Laura Cadman is a student from our side of the pond, and her love for red pouts and cats got us wondering if she’s the true Taylor…

Just look at the hair, the winged eyeliner, EVERYTHING.
Laura told The Mirror that she’s been mistaken for Taylor multiple times and Swifties have a love-hate relationship with her: “At the 1989 concert in Manchester, so many people approached me and asked for pictures. I took pictures with a bunch of people and they were so cute.”
But when a fan realised Laura wasn’t, in fact, Taylor, she wasn’t very happy: “She said she hated me because she thought I was Taylor then heard me talk and realised I wasn’t her,” Laura explained. She said that I shouldn’t do that because it was tricking people, but this confused me because everyone at the concert was dressed up as Tay.”

And Laura is really not trying to be a Taylor Swift copycat: “Nothing prompted me to have this look. I am naturally blonde, reasonably tall and reasonably slim. The rest of my ‘Taylor Swift look’ just consists of classic red lipstick and eyeliner, which I personally think is the most flattering makeup on me.”

Well, there you have it – if you spot Taylor on the streets of London, it might just be Laura, or then again might be the real Taylor visiting her Brit boyfriend, so have your selfies at the ready.
