Local golden girl Minnie Dlamini and her fiancée Quinton Jones made quite an impression on social media when they announced their engagement earlier this year. As South Africans keenly followed the wedding festivities on social media, making the couple’s hashtag one of SA’s top trending topics, one thing was clear – fans wanted to see more, and wanted to share in the excitement of #BecomingMrsJones too. Now, in a ground-breaking first for SA, and in her debut as an executive producer, Minnie will be launching her very own three-part wedding docu-series at 7pm on Friday, 13 October on VUZU Amp – Becoming Mrs Jones.
Set to be a melting pot of tears, excitement, humour, and every colour of emotion imaginable, the series promises an inside look at the joining of two families, as we follow Minnie and Quinton through the process of planning their wedding. “Becoming Mrs Jones is not a reality TV show,” says Minnie. “It’s a deeply personal, beautifully crafted and authentic documentary series where you will see my journey through my eyes and the eyes of my loved ones.”
We don’t know about you, but we’ve already set our DVR to record the season – because this is one TV extravaganza we definitely don’t want to miss out on!
