Katy Perry crashed a wedding, and the photos and video are everything

This weekend, Hayley Rosenblum and Blonie Dudney’s charming St Louis wedding at the Four Seasons Hotel was interrupted by a professional wedding crasher: Katy Perry.

“All of a sudden a huge group of people came rushing in and they were wearing shorts and T-shirts and jeans and hoodies,” one wedding guest told the  Kansas Star. “They were not dressed in wedding attire.” Turns out, that “huge group of people” included Katy, who happened to be staying at the Four Seasons in St. Louis for her  Witness tour the same night as Rosenblum and Dudney’s wedding.

If it had been anyone else, we’re sure the newlyweds would not have been thrilled about their party getting interrupted by strangers — but when Katy Perry is involved, anything goes. After all, this isn’t the first time Katy has dropped in on a wedding: She and Robert Pattinson were spotted spying on a rehearsal back in 2013 at the San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito, California. (An open invitation to random weddings ranks pretty high on the list of being-a-celebrity perks, no?)

And the couple didn’t seem to mind: Just take a look at this video a guest took of the bride dancing with Katy.

The wedding photographer also captured some great photos of the moment.

The pictures say it all. “It made the night,” the wedding guest told the  Kansas Star. “The wedding itself was just absolutely stunning, and the bride was beautiful. But that was the icing on the cake.”

Even though Katy and her friends only stayed at the reception for about ten or so minutes — except for some of Katy’s tour dancers, who stayed longer to continue grooving — it seems everyone loved the surprise. So note to self: Only crash a wedding if you’re with Katy Perry.
