Taylor Swift has sent the music industry into a frenzy after she released her revenge track ‘Look what you made me do’. In the not-so subtle video, she snubs her rival Katy Perry, in particular for not having a Grammy. But Taylor may have even more reason to shake her haters off, as it was just revealed that the pop princess may actually bag an Oscar.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Universal Pictures who distributed Fifty Shades Darker in which the song appeared in, have kick started a campaign to bring T-Swizzle and her collaborators, Zayn Malik, Jack Antonoff and Sam Dew, a ‘Best Original Song’ nomination.
While this would be the second award for the hit song after it took home ‘Best Collaboration’ at the VMA’s, the American film studio declined these plans. But, a spokesperson did confirm that they are supportive of the song’s campaign for merit consideration.

In a behind-the-scenes clip from the music video, Taylor revealed that she filmed most of her solo scenes in the early hours of the morning before Zayn had even arrived.
“We’re in London. It’s earlier than I care to really even say,” she says.
“We’re starting to shoot the video for ‘I don’t wanna live forever.’ And I’m first because clearly I don’t demand late enough call times because Zayn’s asleep somewhere in London, I imagine, under some kind of silk duvet.”
Turns out we weren’t the only ones obsessed with the ‘Bad blood’ singer’s glam in this video (those glitter lips are LIFE) as she seemed pretty impressed with it herself, saying “I’m just like really stoked about the lips right now. I feel like I have a disco ball on my face.”

Ahead of the video release for ‘I don’t wanna live forever’, both Taylor and Zayn took to Instagram to drop a video teaser and it was as amazing as you’d expect.

The video sees Zayn and Taylor moodily explore a lowly lit hotel while singing the track before trashing it at the end. Trust, us you’ve got to see it.
