Rihanna’s latest Fenty x Puma show put the meaning into BadGal. Here’s everything that went down.

Fashion shows are wonderful things because you get to live and breathe the vision of the designer down to very last detail, from the set to the music and the models to the clothes (obvs). But when this designer is  Rihanna, well, you better buckle up.

The theme of  last season’s Fenty x Puma Paris Fashion Week show was ‘Fenty University’, and Rihanna’s latest spring summer 2018 show followed the fun suit with a biker girl theme, and it was typical of the BadGal.

Powder pink dirt hills, burly bikers and It-girl models were all part of Rihanna’s badass show. Kicking off with thumping electronic music, stunt men came tearing up ramps to perform gravity-defying flips across the set before models spun onto the runway. Among these faces were Adwoa Aboah, Taylor Hill, Slick Woods, Grace Elizabeth, Adriana Lima and girl of the season, Kaia Gerber.

As for the clothes, they followed Rihanna’s affinity with athleisure with sporty chic items fit for only the baddest ladies; full body lycras, biker leathers, sporty striped slouch boots and oversized outdoor wear were among the looks.

For her final ‘bow’, Rihanna did a lap of the set on the back of a motorbike to greet her guests wearing a green look from the collection. We’re surprised she wasn’t sitting side-saddle, tbh.
