1 Pick the right products

2 Maintenance is a must

3 Turn down the heat
Avoid washing and rinsing your hair with piping hot water. Go tepid for a longer-lasting shade.
4 Trim regularly
Straw-like ends (from harsh chemical treatments) can ruin your whole look. A slight trim can give your colour the illusion of a style refresh.
5 Cut down on heat styling
Excessive heat causes colour to fade. Cut back on heat styling tools and make sure to always use a protector like [4] Joico K-Pak Color Therapy Styling Oil(R435).
