Last Friday, Blake Lively turned 30, but her birthday party was jokingly called a “Super Sweet 16,” E! News reports. Anna Kendrick, who’s co-starring with her in a new movie called A Simple Favor, and other friends of hers joined her for a special meal followed by a beautiful chocolate cake topped with white chocolate decorations.

“My super sweet 16… but like 14 years late,” Blake captioned a photo of the get-together. She also shared a picture of herself with jewellery designers Lorraine Schwartz and Ofira Sandberg. “Best bday surprise = my sisters from a different mama,” she wrote. “Love you til I’m 40. But not a day longer.”

It doesn’t look like her husband Ryan Reynolds was present for the festivities, but he did make sure to acknowledge her birthday on Twitter and Instagram with a photo he’d jokingly cropped her out of, writing, “Happy Birthday to my amazing wife.”
