Man Candy Monday

The Port Elizabeth-bred hottie, Bjorn Steinbach, started out studying psychology but soon dropped out to pursue his passion for acting. His first project was a short film called Small Killing back in 2008. Since then, he’s featured in local and international productions like Blood Drive, Invictus, Infidel and Saints & Strangers. We’re glad things worked out because this gorgeous specimen deserves to be on the big screen. Find out more about him, here.

What would you say is your best attribute?

Hmmm… It would have to be the fact that I can sleep anywhere, anytime and any place. In fact, my only pre-requisite for sleep is not to be standing up.

Who and/or what inspires you?

Hard to say as I’m inspired on many fronts. But if I had to whittle it down, I guess I get the most hairs standing on my neck when I see someone overcoming their odds and fighting through a situation far after everyone else would understand if they gave up. Pushing through the hard times is something that always reminds me of our potential.

What’s your idea of a perfect date?

I’ve never been on a ‘date’ I want to meet you in your favourite environment, where I get to see the best and worst sides of you upfront. I have no interest in two people sitting and pretending to be their best. Bring on the board games, putt-putt or dress-ups!

What fills the spot at the top of your dream destination list?

I’d love to discover a deserted tropical beach with a clear warm-water cave and an epic waterfall. Any ideas, anyone?

Do you have any regrets when it comes to past relationships?

I think each relationship teaches you something and helps you grow – that’s the boring answer. If I’m completely honest (maybe too honest), I guess I regret some of the times I didn’t just live in the moment, grab them by the arm and push them against a wall and make out!
