Step out in style

Christmas in July

Indulge in a morning or afternoon of Christmas-inspired brunch, cookie-decorating stations for the kids and live Christmas Jazz entertainment at R595 per person, or dinner at R495 per person. Out with the old and gold

Looking to let go of any much-loved clothing? Vintage With Love will take it with pleasure! A charity based on the concept of collecting ‘gently worn clothing’, VWL resells all contributions in order to fund and promote literacy-based charities. This month Vintage With Love is inviting all you fashionistas to donate your threads to the charity, and (of course) to attend the fabulous weekend fashion sale at African Pride 15 on Orange Hotel on 1-3 September. Once your donations are ready for collection, simply email [email protected] with your physical address. If you don’t live in SA, VWL’s partner  Aramex is collecting donations abroad and bringing them here for the sale.

Comedy for charity

Fork and Comedy, a newly established monthly comedy show, will host the #ComedyGivesBack showcase on 18 July 2017 at the Fireman’s Arms in the Cape Town City Bowl, to coincide with Mandela Day. Tickets are R50, plus a sanitary product, with all proceeds going towards purchasing sanitary products for the Girls In School initiative. Get your tickets emailing [email protected], and enjoy side-splitting entertainment by Rob van Vuuren, Dalin Oliver, Jarryd Pillay, Lungelo Ndlovu, KG and more.

Furry fun!

Live like a rock star in Rihanna’s PUMA Fenty Fur Slides, returning by popular demand in three new colours: Cool Blue, Bay, and Orchid Bloom. Available from 31 July at PUMA Select stores for R1 199.
