Cruise collections 2018: Our fashion team’s top looks

Over the past two months, you’ve probably seen a host of extravagant runway shows from the world’s top brands pop up on your news feeds. That’s because it’s resort season – the in-between-season shows that allow top designers to respond to the fast fashion movement with their typical elegance and creativity. Missed out on all the action? We’ve rounded up the top looks from our favourite shows so you can see what’s trending.

Gucci

Clashing prints, statement hairpieces and bold colours ruled the runway. Our favourite piece? The gorgeous velvet handbag-turned-moonbag.

Louis Vuitton

If the LV runway is anything to go by, we’ll all be sporting animal prints, Japanese motifs and disco pants soon! And with so many beautifully tailored, sharp pieces to choose from, we’re totally down with this new look.

Prada

With cool updates to the LBD, sequins galore and fluffy accents, the Prada runway was a little bit ’20s and a little bit space-age. Their knee-high socks are already on our shopping lists!

Chanel

We took a fantasy trip to Greece at Chanel’s show. Knit dresses, plissé fabrics, lace-up heels and jewel-encrusted tops were the choice du jour

Christian Dior

From Parsons’ hats and prairie skirts to embroidery and tassels, the Dior catwalk gave us major Wild West vibes. The sheer skirts with printed imagery top our lust list.
