Alexa Chung’s solo fashion collection is finally here 😍

Alexa Chung is no stranger to the world of fashion, having collaborated with brands such as Madewell, Superga and, most recently, Marks & Spencer. Now, however, she’s taking on the mantle of designer too, with the launch of her highly anticipated line, ALEXACHUNG.

With her debut held in a Danish church adjacent to Regent’s Park in London, Alexa’s event felt more like a wedding than a traditional fashion show – and what a show it was! Denim featured heavily in the opening of the 150-piece collection, showcasing frayed jeans and midi skirts, as well as sweatshirts emblazoned with an illustration of George Harrison, created by none other than Alexa’s father. Keeping her collection personal, Alexa’s opening sweatshirt paid homage to T-shirts sold by her friend Tennessee’s activist hub in New York, aptly titled Screw You. As a contrast to the collection’s initial tomboyishness, Alexa’s girly side came through with a capital G, thanks to tiered ruffle dresses in floral prints, and a sleeveless biker mini dress. “I’m always drawn to traditions,” she explained, “so I wanted the brand to be traditional… But also weird. Unexpected.”

ALEXACHUNG goes on sale on 31 May on  AlexaChung.com and  Style.com, so start selecting your favourite pieces today for your own Alexa-inspired fashion forward look!
