Your boyfriend dumps you via text message (classy) and shortly thereafter your close friend, and sister of your ex, relieves you of your maid of honour duties. So, do you still attend the wedding? If you’re Eloise (Anna Kendrick), of course you do! She’s seated at the ‘randoms’ table, naturally, but as the reception progresses everyone’s secrets are revealed and Eloise learns a thing or two from the guests at table 19. All of which goes to show that friendship, and even a little romance, can happen under the most unlikely of circumstances.
