Luthando “LootLove” Shosha has just been announced as the new face of Footwork’s 2017 Winter Campaign! The collection is a gorgeous mix of the TV and radio personality’s unique style and features the perfect statement heels, standout stilettos and showstopping boots. We caught up with the presenter to find out more about her exciting new collaboration, and what we can expect from it.
“It is an honour to have been chosen as the face of Footwork’s Winter campaign,” Luthando says. “I’ve always had an obsession for footwear and I can’t wait for everyone to see how I’ve incorporated the different designs into my style. For me, style is an expression of one’s individuality and the collection’s versatility is perfect for a girl like myself who is constantly looking for the edge in her looks. This collaboration with Footwork couldn’t have come at a more perfect time. In addition to my Metro FM radio show, I am currently making a few career moves and I’m certain that with the right pair of shoes on my feet, I will be able to put my best foot forward and achieve my goals.”
What attracted you to this campaign?
Every girl loves shoes, and so do I! I’m already known as a sneaker lover, but the truth is I love ALL shoes. I’m also quite a big fan of winter fashion in general, so this relationship made sense to me. Being approached by Footwork to become the face of their 2017 winter campaign is an honour I couldn’t turn down.
What do you love most about the collection?
The designs are just so diverse! There’s literally a pair for every kind of woman. As women, we take a lot of steps in pursuit of our dreams, and through this collection, we’ll all be able to do so in style.
Your top favourites from the range?
My must-haves are The Orchid (thigh-high grey boots), The Rose (formal embroidered low-cut boots), The Dahlia (sexy, red open-back heels) and The Rue (velvet pumps).
Is comfort important to you when buying shoes?
Absolutely! You spend hours in them, so they have to be wearable. The perfect pair of heels should fit correctly and not strain your feet too much.
We adore the knee-high boots! Who do you see wearing them?
Definitely Nomuzi Mabena, Nadia Nakai, and myself, of course!
How would you suggest styling them?
I’m totally loving the oversized hoodies and jackets trend right now, so I’d pair the boots with that.
