One more reason to fall in love with Terry Pheto

We love Terry Pheto for her role in Tsotsi, for being the first South African to be the face of L’Oréal and starring in the popular US soapie The Bold and the Beautifu l, and now, she has put SA on the map again.

The actress has bagged a prestigious international award nomination in the Best Supporting Actress category for her role in A United Kingdom at the National Film Awards UK.

Based on a true story, the film is about the interracial romance between the first president of Botswana, Sir Seretse Khama (David Oyelowo) and Ruth Williams Khama (Rosamund Pike), a London office worker. Terry plays Naledi Khama, Seretse’s sister, in the movie.

She will go up against Avin Manshadi, Gemma Arterton, Naomie Harris, Shana Swash, Joanna Lumley, Alma Jodorowsky and Gemma Jones.

Congrats are in order for Terry! Make sure to vote for her  here.
