A night at the Opera
If you love the arts you’ll be happy to know that award-winning director Marthinus Basson is launching the Cape Town Opera’s 2017 season with a contemporary take on Verdi’s Rigoletto that places themes of power, money, misogyny and prejudice in an African context. Feast your eyes and ears on modified cars and trucks, exhilarating sound and pulse race drifting from 10am to 6pm on the 27 to 29 January. Welcoming the weekend
One of Cape Town’s newest hot spots to the gastropub scene, Nomad Bistro & Bar will be keeping you entertained with the launch of three weekly events. Thursdays are Live at Nomad evenings featuring local artists and bands. Friday Feels has DJ’s playing a mix of funk, indie-rock, hip-hop and urban music with free entry.
