La La Landstormed the Critics’ Choice Awards 2016 winning an impressive eight gongs. Damien Chazelle’s spectacular new musical was awarded Best Picture, Best Director, Best Cinematography, Best Production Design, Best Editing, Best Score, Best Song and Best Original Screenplay.
During his acceptance speech on stage at The Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California on Sunday (11.12.16), director Chazelle praised lead stars Ryan Gosling, 36, and Emma Stone, 28, after the pair failed to receive individual awards for their parts in the movie.
