SA fashion is in the limelight again, with another international A-lister opting to wear a proudly SA design to a major red carpet event.
Oscar-winner and former GLAMOUR cover girl Lupita Nyong’o wore a beautiful white, off-the-shoulder piece by local designer Khosi Nkosi to the New York City screening of her latest film, Queen of Katwe.
The Kenyan actress looked breathtaking in the brand’s ‘Xhosa Dress’ and Khosi, a favourite designer for local stars Nomzamo Mbatha and Liesl Laurie, took to Instagram and Twitter to share her shock and #gratitude. We applaud both Khosi and Lupita, who is known for bringing African fashion from all over the continent to the international stage.
