In the latest of a series of collaborations celebrating local design, Woolworths has officially joined forces with SA Fashion Week (SAFW) to fast-track South African fashion from the runway to the rails. It’s festival time!

The Interplanetary Folk Festival

 is currently running until the 2nd October at the Blah Blah Bar in Cape Town. With an out-of-this-world line-up of folk musicians, the festival is focused on an inclusive theme of South African Folk that reflects the vibrant diversity that is synonymous with our country’s many flavours and music tastes. Get running!

Paarl will host South Africa’s first Fisherman’s Friend StrongmanRun, the world’s biggest cross-country obstacle race, on Saturday 1 October. This rapidly growing cross-country-obstacle-race set on a long distance track including swimming, climbing and crawling obstacles. Paarl Rock, the country’s largest recorded mass of granite and the picturesque Berg River are the location, and will add to the challenge and scenic beauty for this one-of-a-kind event. There are three distances: 8km with 12 obstacles, 14km with 20 obstacles and 21km with 25 obstacles.
