Karlie Kloss is the new face of Mango

Karlie Kloss is the new face of Mango’s Spring/Summer 2016 campaign.

The 23-year-old supermodel – who is currently the face of Topshop’s Spring/Summer 2016 range, and has fronted campaigns for luxury designers John Galliano, Elie Saab, Jean Paul Gaultier, Donna Karan as well as Nike – has joined the Spanish fashion house for their upcoming New Metallics promotion.

Karlie has inherited the job from fellow ‘Girl Squad’ member Kendall Jenner for the brands Tribal Spirits collection.

Speaking to i-D magazine about her new job, Karlie – who was scouted at 14 years old after gracing the cover of Scene Magazine – said: “It’s amazing. I love how the campaign captures the energy of the New Metallics collection. I love that Mango is a chic and classic brand with an iconic international presence.”

The blonde beauty, who hung up her Victoria Secret’s Angel wings in 2015 to return to education, revealed working on the campaign with The Kills guitarist Jamie Hince – Kate Moss’ estranged husband, who provides the backing track for the TV commercials – felt like a return to the 90s.

Karlie – who is studying Computer Science and Software Engineering at New York University – said: “The shoot was really fun and high energy. It was one big 90s dance party.”
