Adele has officially dethroned Taylor Swift to become the world’s biggest selling music artist.
In news that basically means Adele rules the world, the singer has now been crowned the biggest-selling music artist of 2015 by the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI).
Adele’s victory follows the HUGE success of her third studio album, 25, last year whcih went on to become the fastest-selling in British history. Now there’s a career highlight.
Taylor Swift, who snatched the top spot the year before, was bumped down into third place, with Ed Sheeran coming in second, and Justin Bieber and One Direction making up fourth and fifth places.
Sorry, Taylor. We hope there’s no bad blood…
