Emma Roberts celebrated the New Year with Evan Peters.
The on/off couple – who ended their engagement in June – have been rumoured to have been back together for some time, and welcomed 2016 at a $4,500 property in Malibu, which they rented from Airbnb.
Emma tweeted: “Perfect way to start 2016.”
According to the New York Post newspaper’s Page Six column, the pair made no attempt to hide their affection one another and were seen strolling hand-in-hand on the beach, as well as visiting the Malibu Country Mart and a local Starbucks.
However, though their romance is back on, Evan, 28, and Emma, 24, are not planning their wedding again just yet.
A source said: “They are not engaged, but got back together two months ago.”
Evan fuelled speculation the couple had reconciled back in October when he gushed about the ‘Scream Queens’ star.
He said: “She is really great.”
Quizzed about their relationship, the ‘American Horror Story’ actor then coyly gave a thumbs up.
He added: “I just love her.”
The actor began dating Emma in 2012 and proposed to her in December 2013.
Emma and Evan’s engagement came to a crashing halt last summer and it was claimed the split was “amicable”.
A source previously said: “They have so many great memories together but couldn’t make it work in the end.
“The break-up was amicable – there was no drama whatsoever. Emma and Evan are even still friends!”
