Kim K’s ‘Kimoji’ app breaks Apple Store

Kim Kardashian West’s latest app broke the Apple Store on Monday (21.12.15).

The reality TV star released her Kimoji application, on which users can download a series of Kim-style emojis and use them in their messages to friends, and the overwhelming demand for the $1.99 feature led to the Apple Store crashing.

The 35-year-old stunner took to Twitter to apologise to Apple for breaking their digital distribution platform.

In a series of tweets, she wrote: “Apple, I’m so sorry I broke your App Store!!!

“I can’t believe so many people downloaded my KIMOJI app that it affected the entire app store!

“We worked so hard on this app & we know there are some issues due to the massive downloads that the whole tech team is so working on!

“My Kimoji app will be up and running again soon! They are also working on fixing the search so u can easily find it!

“Ahhhhhhhh I still can’t believe we broke the entire App Store!!!! #KIMOJI

#ConvoWithMom #KIMOJI I know the App Store is still working hard to fix everyone’s app! (sic)”

Fortunately for Apple, Kim’s app didn’t crash the store for long and it was up and running again.

She later tweeted: “Ok! We’re back! Everything is fixed! Get KIMOJI now in the App Store! (sic)”

As well as emojis of a number of Kim’s facial expressions, several other symbols are available including more than one picture of Kim’s derriere.
