Gigi Hadid has defended her alleged relationship with Zayn Malik in a series of cryptic tweets. The pair were spotted holding hands as they left a nightclub in West Hollywood over the weekend and the model was attempting to respond to the fan frenzy surrounding their reported romance.
“Sometimes life just happens.. For whatever reason in whatever timing. And sometimes it doesn’t make sense till it does. That’s it.”
“If there was a real way to sit with each one of you and tell you my side of things, I would. But there’s not, so I won’t. I’ve found the only way to happiness is by living as though the microscope isn’t there.”
The Victoria’s Secret model also reportedly responded to a fan who called her new relationship “fake“
“Who are you to say what is fake? Your comment proves my point exactly. If you don’t know you don’t know.”
The star went on to delete her posts and instead shared a photo of a beach with the words “chill” written on it.

Gigi split from Joe Jonas three weeks ago, while Zayn broke up with his fiancee Perrie Edwards in August.
Joe Jonas, meanwhile, has added fuel to the fire by unfollowing his ex on Instagram and deleting a photo of himself with Zayn Malik which was taken in June this year.
