We are SO excited to announce that Cotton On’s footwear and accessories brand Rubi is opening its first standalone stores in Johannesburg this month!
We’ve all been loving Rubi in the Cotton On megastores, which is why Cotton On has decided to open its first two standalone stores at Centurion Mall and The Glen Shopping Centre this month. We’ve seen the stores and we know you’re going to LOVE them! Picture a clean aesthetic with washed timber floors, exposed white bricks and studio-style lighting… The perfect shoe shopping environment!
This season, it’s all about capturing that nostalgic feeling of summer holidays with Rubi’s ‘Vacay Every Day’ campaign. The tan sandal rules this summer, paired back with on trend Hamptons stripes, denim and soft natural fibres to create the ultimate vacay wardrobe. A bright injection of colour sees the collection swing to high summer mid-season, with bright, bold layers complemented with sandals or pool slides.
Coming into the New Year, the trend takes a subtle nod towards nineties with monochromatic tones expressed through stripes and laid back mono prints. It’s all about no fuss dressing, with sneakers, slides and essential heels ruling underfoot. Customisation is another big trend that will emerge in the New Year, which is all about making the look your own and showing off how you live life with Rubi.
On Saturday 14th November, you’re invited to come hang out with Rubi at the store launch in The Glen Shopping Centre. Party all day with a DJ spinning tunes, shoe customisation by local artist Atang Tshikare, plus giveaways and so much more! We’ll see all you fashionistas there.
